  1. Any update?? In the same boat currently. Applying for FNP. But I'm also a boot camp instructor although I don't have an official CPT. And I have a bachelors of exercise science too.
  2. Wondering if you've ever found an answer?? :)
  3. Oops, see my response below please!
  4. Hi there, sorry that was poorly worded. Prevention as in primary prevention or "true" prevention. Using medicine along with hollisitic measures to cure, slow, or reverse diseases which many people are just given medications for. I.E. working with nutrition and environmental factors.
  5. I am currently in an Accelerated BSN program, I will be done in August 2018. I am about to apply for DNP schools, but I know I want to be involved with anti-aging/ integrative health. I want to be involved in actual healing and prevention. Does anyone have any tips on things I can start now? I listen to a lot of podcasts, like Bulletproof, etc. I've been paleo/keto for a while. I have my own food instagram, as I love to cook! (ayes_and_avocados). I am a HIIT coach at Fit Body Boot Camp and have a degree in Clinical Exercise Science. I would like to get a jump start so I can learn as much as I can and gain quick experience. I've been debating on programs. FNP, CNS or there's a newer DNP in Integrative Health. My current thinking is FNP is the way to go, with experience in different Integrative Health measures. I'm not sure where to start or how to get into this field. Are there are any suggestions for type of unit/job I should work in as an RN while attending DNP school? Or clinical experience as an NP? My goal is to not waste my time! Thank you so much!
