PACT RN
Hi all, I'm looking for a nursing change and I saw a job post for a VA PACT nurse. The job description isn't very clear about the details of the position. I've Googled it and it sounds like possibly a care manager position? But I'm still unclear as to what it is. Anyone know exactly what a pact nurse does? Thanks.

Calling all NICU nurses in the Atlanta area!
Do you like Emory? I've heard they are really good. Is it level 3 or 4? I suppose with more orientation I could become comfortable with the higher acuity babies. I have no desire to do level 4 though. Best of luck with your orientation! I also have med surg and mom/baby background. Going to nicu from med surg is so awesome because it is so different and the babies are way better than med surg patients (in my opinion). Thanks for your response!

Calling all NICU nurses in the Atlanta area!
Hi all, I'm new to Georgia. Just moved to a north Atlanta suburb in October. I took a few months off of work to get the kids and house settled and now I'm ready to go back to work. I have 6 years level 3 nicu experience. However, the 2 nicu's I've worked in were fairly small and we didn't get a ton of babies with vents/lines. I'm not very comfortable with these babies and would prefer to find a small level 3 or a level 2 nicu in the area. I feel like I've searched all the hospitals in the area, including downtown, and they are all level 3 or 4. Anyone know of a smaller nicu around here that doesn't get a lot of or any vents? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks ahead of time. Kristen
