  1. I am still hoping that my interview date will finally arrive soon. My groupmate is already scheduled on the 11th of September at 6:30 AM however, her problem now is that as of this writing, she don't have any appointment letter yet to be presented during the P.E at St. Luke's Ext.Clinic?
  2. Hi, Guys! Until now, I have not received any words from NVC regarding the status of my case. They said, that I have to wait 3 to 5 days. I don't want to preempt but I will just think positively that my case will be included on the September miracle. Sorry, guys, if I can not give you a day to day update of my case because I have a problem of my internet connection with PLDT. Perhaps, I can go to the internet cafe near my residence to give or contribute some good inputs concerning current & relevant issues especially of course in relation to our case. God bless to Titanium, Crumvy & the rest. You are all in my prayers! God is good!
  3. Hi, Titanium! Praised the Lord! I am happy of you that you have now your schedule of interview which is on the 11th of September. That is a good indication that schedule of interview for those who are waiting is now in place. I emailed NVC prior to this writing inquiring them about the schedule date of my interview. I hope next month too, same as yours. I am expecting that the September listing of interviewees is now ready for viewing the same listing as what they did before. Keep on posting guys for the new developments! God bless us all.
  4. Hi Titanium, it's good to hear from you!. I "ve been off the forum for a week now because I have a problem of my internet connection. It's really been a problem since it was downgraded from comm'l to residential. Anyway, back to our subject, I just verified my case through "visa interview appointments" again, the remarks still the same "case number not found on appointment list". Though, I don't have a crystal ball to predect what's really ahead of us, but I am certain & stand by HIS word that " For I know the plans That I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you future and a hope" Jer.29:11. Is that nice to hear? So we don't lose hope guys! "The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps" Prob.16:9.
  5. Hi Daning! I just hope that this is not an isolated case. As what I have observed, those cases that has been completed last May were able to experience an early consular interviews as early as July including that of our colleage Ann80 & of course, yours. 2 mos. still possible but I hope & pray that the trend will not change otherwise we can experience the prolong agony of this waiting game. I called up NVC last night & as what they told me that our documents are already set to be forwarded to Manila. Perhaps, no timetable yet if when are they going to send it. Anyway, I have no choice but to wait in God's perfect timing!
  6. Hello Suzanne, Most cases I read here is from 3 months up. You are right, suzanne. Two (2) months is quite short when it comes to our interview. I am afraid of retrogression that might affect us especially those who are still waiting. I hope there will be some changes on this in the near future. Thank you, suzanne! God bless.
  7. Hello Titanium, I have seen already the June ,July & August listing for interview numbering to 182 cases . Haaaay! my case is still not included. Perhaps, on Setember or October schedule date of interview. It's understandable anyway that if our case was approved this July, the maximum waiting period for the said (P4) interview is 2 to 3 months. I hope & pray that everything is going smoothly to all of us including of course with crumvy & to the rest of us who are still waiting! Remember, God is really good all the time. God bless!
  8. Hi titanium, Here's the link, as you can see " Visa Interview Appointments" then find the word "click here and check your case number". But it's unfortunate that when I enter my case number it will appear the word "case number not found on appointment list". Perhaps, they are still encoding our case numbers. I hope that will be the case. Actually at the recent schedule, there were abnout 140 cases they had released for interviews covering the months of May,June & July 2006. Anyway, here is the link: http://usembassy.state.gov/posts/rp1/wwwh3217.html If in case upon clicking this link there is an error in it, you can go to page #10 of this thread & look for the post of Rep. where he also posted the website. Thanks & God bless us all!
  9. Hi Leis23, I think aside from those docs I mentioned, you better verify this if you still need to produce this (cenomar, singleness) certificate of no marriage record at NSO. In our case, we produced the ff: NBI Clearance, Birth Cert., Marriage Contract (if married), photocopy of our Passport (be sure with your signature affixed in it), Police Clearance ( if you happened to work outside RP) & the DS-230 (Part 1)-everything to be filled out & signed while at (Part 2 to be filled out but do not sign it). Your lawyer will just inform you anyway if something is missing. okay? God bless, Leis.
  10. thanks titanium, i just received a response from NVC that as soon as interview date has been scheduled, the designated representative of this case (applicant, petitioner or attorney) will be notified. That additional documentation may require at the time of the interview. The same wordings as yours. I don't know if this is actually mean an approval already. Anyway, I am sure my lawyer will inform me if my case is finally approved soon. yap! how exciting really if we will be queing there in the embassy with you guys! God bless!
  11. I stand corrected! the last interview months was May,JUne & July while August, September & October schedule of interview still coming up. hope so! God bless.
  12. Hello Kratos! I think i am ahead of 20 days since my documents were received by NVC last June 26 yet. I have been tracing the case of titanium, it was stated that her docus were received last June 28, & with another follow up that her case was already appoved last July 14, In this view however, i have been speculating that my case was also approved too but i don't have any official confirmation yet from NVC. The last schedule of interview dates were from JUne, JUly & August 2006, I hope that there will be new list of cases scheduled for interview soon possibly September, October & November 2006. I hope we guys will be included in this new set of cases to be interviewed soon. Because of the world events happening right now, we need God's intercession that everything go smoothly without hindrances. God bless us all!
  13. Thank you Daning for your word of hope & inspiration! We are just waiting now for the result from NVC. I e-mailed NVC last July 16, but until now I have not received any words from them regarding our case. Hi Leis23, if all communication is directed to your Attorney of record from NVC, just contact or communicate with your lawyer since he/she is the one who will send the Instructional packet including the DS-230 part 1&2 & other impt. intructions from NVC. You better download from the internet DS-230 forms as your draft or reference. Regarding your personal documents such as NBI Clearance, Birth Cert. etc. it is likewise better to send it directly to your lawyer together with the DS-230 forms & other impt. docus at least in one large envelope. God bless!
  14. Our docs were sent to NVC last June 2006 but we are still waiting if the review has already been completed. I am afraid of the latest visa bulletin for 2006 "that on Schedule A (EX) Visa category is approaching that limit, and may require the establishment to cut-off date as early as October. Once all 50,000 numbers have been made available under the current limitation, processing under this category will END. I hope & pray to God that all of us who are still waiting for the interview will not be affected by this"!
  15. Hi golfermyluv, i think there are lots of hospitals who are accepting volunteer work here in the Philippines but in your case, are you planning to work outside the Philippines? if your are now thinking of working abroad, i think it depends on the facility you are going to apply in the States. Some hospitals dont require experience but if you have the chance to work for the sake of experience & or familiarization, you better do it now. But i think what is necessary is to take all the exams first like the ff: english exams (toefl or ielts), nclex or cgfns.
  16. Hi Kratos! I think we have the same problem, my documents were sent on the 2nd week of June with several communications I already sent to NVC through email but unfortunately there responses were negative meaning they have not received yet my papers. I don't know what is really there procedure in receiving docs under P3. I thought it was encoded right away in the computer through our individual assigned barcode sheets but it seems they have different ways to handle it. Anyway, our attitude now is just to wait & wait & wait until everything goes right in God's perfect timing. God bless!
  17. Hi Hiren! I am sorry for not answering your post regarding this so-called "retrogression" considering that I have a little problem of my internet connection right after I transferred to a new location. Actually,I hav decided to dispose all my 10 units of computers so that all the proceeds will be used in preparation for my consular interview which I really don"t know yet as of the moment. Regarding this retrogression. I hate to discuss this matter since we might be affected on this despite our papers is now at the NVC.As of this writing, I don't have any fresh news regarding this subject however, what is important is to monitor from time to time right in this forum. I believe that this will be become a top news if ever this retrogression issue is already in our doorstep. a Bye! bye!
  18. JOKETIME: A man woke up in a hospital after a serious accident. He shouted,Doctor, doctor, I can't feel my legs! The doctor replied," I know you can't-I've cut off your arms!"
  19. Hi, I'm happy to be back! For the past couple of weeks I was so busy of my internet caf'e business which was moved to a new location. Actually, my concern here is about the question raised by Gwapo to Nurse dependent regarding enlisting those male immigrants ages 18 up into military service .I am very much worried because I have my son running 19 years of age which is also going with me in the States. I really don't like him to be in the military service. I hope this is not true. Please give us feedback on this matter. thanks!
  20. this is PRETSE! HI! In your Q1- you should place as your present occupation is R & D not RN because the question there is implying about your PRESENT occupation. BTW, what R & D means? In your Q2- (this is only based oin my opinion) right now! if your are an schedule A nurse, Upon the NVC apporval, the timeline is from 4 to 5 months depending on the time ds-230 forwarded to NVC. Upon approval, you have to contact the Consular office in Manila for the schedule of your interview that will be posted in the internet (sorry, i don't have the link!) In your Q3- sorry! I dont have that answer.. I hope this will help you! PRETSE!
  21. Hi, Thanks suzzane! i think we can only do that latter if everything is already in place.. but what is more practical for the meantime is to let our partner do the daily chores & Perhaps for the time comes, we can already find a day care for the children otherwise we can use time management nif both are working. it's me PRETSE!
  22. Hi, we don't have any conclusive facts yet about retrogression. Unless the gov't itself will make some pronouncement concerning the same. As of now everything is just a rumor about retrogression. If your documents will reach NVC, perhaps we have nothing to fear of. that's only my opinion, pretse!
  23. hi its PRETSE! I have been wondering if LIABILITY is an issue here regarding item #22b if we answer N/A. why? what happen if i have my kids ages 3,5 &12 as dependents, who will take care of these kids if both my hubby and I are working? remember in the States we don't have helpers to take care of our daily chores. I guess putting N/A is maybe more appropriate/practical rather than putting an occupation or work thatn we can not do it.That's my humble opinion.
  24. Hi Mervat, CONGRATULATIONS! its Pretse! by the way, when ur docs. were forwarded to the NVC prior to your interview, did you not include any police clearance together with your DS-230, NBI clearance, Birth Cert, etc? How come embassy is looking for it? i thought NVC will just forward all our orig. docs to the consulate, Manila?
  25. hi this is pretse, this is the kind of issue that some really don't like to hear!
