  1. That is good news. People who don't have 70 points, I'm rooting for you!!!
  2. I'm just working myself. Doing everything I can to keep my mind off the big day.
  3. I just want to find out too! I know my friend applied, but felt really overwhelmed with classes this semester and didn't get an invite to take the TEAS. She decided to just reapply next semester so she could study with a tutor. But I'll be checking all day next Friday! I hear it tends to be sent out towards the end of the day haha. I would too. Send and run away!
  4. I am pretty nervous to be honest and I am constantly checking my email for word. Trying to stay busy with work right now. I feel kinda better knowing there may have been only 400 that applied this semester! Usually there are over 1000 so that is insane. I'm keeping my fingers crossed though.
  5. On the website for the school PowerPoint and both office people I spoke with said they only accepted the first passing score. I am sorry for being so blunt earlier, but there are people who were not accepted because they did not do well on the TEAS and applied with their first attempt. Yes, it is considered cheating in my opinion if the other applicants are using their first score and others are using their second, third, fourth, etc. attempt. They use a points system to help them sort through everyone applying. The people with the highest points have a better shot at being accepted. There is zero issue with integrity there. If you chose to submit another score then that is what you chose to do. I just don't think it is fair to my peers following the guidelines we were told to follow and I choose not to do it. Maybe they changed things, but I don't mind working hard to take it just once.
  6. They only accept the first score PERIOD. I know people who have not been accepted because of a low score the first time around and they are unable to retake it. So thank you but no thank you. I'm not going to lie and risk getting kicked out. Spent too much time and money to lose my integrity.
  7. If you're currently feeling overwhelmed with an intro to A&P class then I would not recommend taking the other three classes with it. Summer courses are fast paced. I would perhaps take the other two classes and take A&P during a regular semester.
  8. I brought in my supporting documents after submitting my application :) good luck!!!
  9. Yes, thank you! This was so helpful. I should get started on my immunizations just in case. Now I guess those of us waiting should just be looking forward to the TEAS now.
  10. I won't be able to make it it looks like Can someone ask about the points that got accepted for the last group since they were the first ones with the new points system?
  11. Try adding flax and/or protein powder to your smoothies! It helps to keep you a tad more full.
  12. I found meal prepping helped me a lot. I hate eating breakfast, but know that I need to. Having things ready to go to just eat cold, as is, or pop into the microwave helps. If you strive to eat healthy... you can prep oatmeal in mason jars, hard boiled eggs, have yogurt handy, granola bars, cereal to go, fresh fruit, apple sauce, etc. I also do protein shakes as it helps to keep you full. You can mix in fruits (cut a bit of these up as well and add as needed) and yogurt as well to make it extra filling. If I do eat breakfast, I still bring an extra snack and have a shaker with protein powder it in. There are bottles that allow you to store protein in the bottom if you want to bring more than one serving. Lastly, look into getting a lunch bag that keeps your food cold. If I am really and I mean really not in the mood for breakfast then I use that method or just grab some pop tarts. I have learned I am a little lazy when it comes to cooking and convenience matters a great deal. Meal prepping saves potential victims of my hanger.
  13. I'm going to try to make it that evening as well. I should be good to go, but just to be safe...
