  1. Do they ask you about meds according to your speciality? I.E if you work cardiac, ask you about inotropes and stuff? or is it just general ICU meds they ask you about. I am applying for the 2024 class and was hoping to get a heads up thanks!
  2. Out of the remaining 55 students in my program from a start of 75 at the beginning of last semester....The male count is narrowed down to like 7, including myself. Personally, I don't mind, I like the material and classes and I feel like males generally have a different thought process than females after going through my program so far and being in different study groups, so I think we all help each other in different ways. The pay come graduation in my area is not anything to laugh about either. Also, the guy:girl ratio is definitely a plus haha.
  3. So I've been an EMT for about three years now. Always had an interest in becoming a paramedic. Now, I am about a year away from a BSN and am thinking about going to paramedic school after my BSN is finished. Does anybody recommend this route? against this route? Does anybody know anybody whose done this route? The goal is to end up working as an ICU RN while per diem on the ambulance at the same hospital I work at as an EMT now. Any insight appreciated.
