  1. I didn't do my prereqs at Aspen so i'm not sure if I can answer your question appropriately. I did them all at another school in the valley and then applied to Aspen's nursing core program. I applied to the core portion about 6 months after completing my pre-reqs and I heard back from them that I got into the core program about 2-3 weeks later. After I got in, they informed me of the deadlines for completing the HESI. I think I had about a month to stud if I remember correctly.
  2. Not yet! We start pretty soon though. I was nervous starting out because there wasn't any information about it anywhere from current students so I hope I was able to relieve some of your nerves. I think you'll really enjoy Aspen and have a great experience there!
  3. I don't think they're difficult at all but I have taken many online classes in the past in high school and when taking my pre-requisites. In fact, I thought these online classes were set up better than ones I have taken in the past. You have 1 module to complete a week in every course. So if you're taking 4 courses and have 1 module each, thats 4 modules to complete a week. Each module includes readings, a discussion question (sometimes 2) depending on the course, and an assignment (either an essay or quizzes). In the core portion of the program, not all of your classes are online unlike the pre-req portion. You meet with your cohort 1-2x times a week during seminar and/or lab. Everyone in your cohort is usually taking the exact same classes as you and you get super close to them during lab and seminar so that makes it a lot easier since you already know your classmates from your online classes. If i'm ever confused on an online assignment or don't understand it, I can easily text one of my fellow classmates for help. Hope that answers your question!
  4. Hey everyone! Just updating in case people are curious or they want to know more about Aspen. I started in the core nursing program a few months ago and I love it! A few of my professors are ridiculous but I think that is to be expected no matter where you go. Feel free to message me if you have any questions! I'm in the days cohort.
  5. This was my convo with my advisor last week! I messaged her to make sure my application was submitted and this was the outcome! Looks like we might not be finding out till the end of March. First message is my advisor, second is me, third message is my advisor again.
  6. Has anybody from this forum started at Aspen yet? I have applied to start in March and want to know more about it. There aren't many reviews on this site about it yet since the program is so new. Any information would be super helpful! Thank you.
  7. Applying with a 76/100. First time applying.
