  1. Hey Guys I applied on Sept 13th and put my preferences for Mercy San Diego and Chula Vista. I put my first choice as tele/ dou and second med surg. I am an internal candidate and work as a PCA/SSRS. Graduate with ADN in December. Don't think I will get the job since I don't have BSN yet, but thought I might as well try. I received the on demand interview the day after applying. Good luck to everyone applying!
  2. Has anyone heard anything yet?
  3. Anyone get any more rejections ?
  4. It's probably just saying you completed the application and has been there since you turned in the app?
  5. What color is your dot ?
  6. What was the color dot before ? Does it say a campus next to it and is it under the application section?
  7. Has anyone heard anything at all?
  8. Where did you have your interview? And we're you also able to go over like your points/ how competitive of applicant you are ?
  9. I had my interview at the SD campus today but she didn't really go over the amount of points I had or how competitive I was as an applicant. I didn't even have time to ask her as there was another interview right after mine. I hope that isn't a bad thing. But yeah international and faith based experience was the first thing she mentioned
  10. I was wondering what y'all think my chances are I'm a 22 year.old bilingual male graduated with BS in physio/neuroscience from UCSD with a 3.1 have 3.6 in non science and 3.5 science. Have volunteered on cardiology unit for 100 hours, been a cna for almost two years at two different nursing facilities, volunteered in Mexico where I helped plan and attended clinic trips for 2 years.
  11. It was for the San Diego campus
  12. I just got called as well for an interview in March also
  13. So nobody has yet to hear from the fnp specialty?
  14. For what specialty did you all have your interviews for ?
  15. Has anyone who applied to FNP heard back yet ?
  16. Hey Mel i also applied and got the same email. I graduated from UCSD with major in physio and neuroscience with 3.1 gpa and around 3.6 in prereq. Been a CNA for 2 years, have volunteered on cardiology unit for around 100 hours, been a part of an organization that provides free clinics in mexico for 2 years, male, bilingual, and i applied for the family np track.
  17. I appreciate your feedback. And i was considering several entry level masters programs such as APU, NorthEastern, Western, John Hopkins, and USF. I would really like to stay in California programs but I`m willing to relocate to really any state because i just really want to start my career path in being a family NP. I also am aware that California programs are very competitive. I know that a lot of the schools I`m planning on applying to say they take a holistic approach to viewing applications, which is what i am really hoping because my GPA isnt as high as i would want it to be.
  18. Hi everyone, I was thinking about applying to several entry level masters programs for nursing and I was wondering if you guys think i have a chance.
