  1. I don't know. It's the one with the different colors on the cover. That's the one I seen students take.
  2. Didn't take it but was told English, math, reading and science.
  3. I don't know which campus she is from but in the LA campus they don't do that. If you already have an ATI account you're going to have to make a whole new one once you get into nursing core to do your skills modules.
  4. Never had to take the teas or know others who had to take it in FYS. Teas is accepted to get into the program if you score a 60 or higher if not they give the HESI exam.
  5. The day program you mean FYS 7-12? It was easy just really boring. No need for it honestly. My days were 3 classes. FYS was my only 7 am class and I only needed to be there twice so it worked out for my and opted for a class to be online so i only went to school once a week. Honestly for the first term it's pretty easy day or night.
  6. Yes they all use the same book.
  7. Hey no worries I understand what you were asking lol. So, you can look up west coast university bookstore and it will pop out and it will ask for a campus and term. You pick your campus and the term we're in now which is summer. They don't have the fall books yet. But for first year seminar there's no book.
  8. Hello everyone, I hope this blog has helped in making your decision in joining the WCU fam. I am sorry that i haven't been on as much because ive been super busy with my term. So, the last time that i was on here i was saying i had a term of GE left and well i finished those and i am now im nursing core. I am actually 75% done with my first term in nursing and will be picking my classes for my 2nd term in nursing which consists of Med surg & pharm. Excited and these first classes have been relatively easy for the most of us. but all is good and hope to see some of you soon!
  9. Hello, I actually really like it. It's fast paced and there's always something going on. I was skeptical too in the beginning but I'm really glad I did it. You need a meeting with a counselor because loans are kind of hard to set up. They are there to help you
  10. Hi, I am already a student so I don't have an orientation to attend. However, you could call and ask if there will be one. If I remember correctly , there was no orientation for us. It's a class called first year seminar. That's basically your orientation.
  11. They won't give you a schedule of classes till your loan info goes to the school which takes about 3 days to get to them. So you need to accept the loan terms and then send it in then they will evaluate your classes and give u a schedule. I've taken FYS and critical reasoning. FYS is boring and easy. Do able. Critical reasoning is a little tougher but fun. My next term is only patho and GE capstone. GE capstone is barely even a class you have the whole 2 months to write a paper thats it. The classes aren't intense they are easy and fun to do.
  12. The campus is fine. I'm only in class one day out the week so it's not like I spend most of my time there. The surrounding area is like whatever to me cuz I live in the ghetto lol so it's not like it scares me. Yeah parking is really bad after 11 am so some of us have to park across the street at the movie theater.
  13. Aw that's awesome!!! My friend also starts in April. She's attending the Anaheim campus but might more to where I am at. Which is the Hollywood campus
