  1. Congrats! Did you interview in March or February?
  2. Good to know, thanks! May still feels so far away, but hopefully we will hear good news soon!
  3. Did anyone who interview in February hear back? I'm reaching my 2 months in few weeks, and am wondering if other people are still waiting to hear as well. Thanks!
  4. Does anyone know if we will be able to pick shifts? According to offer letter, I'm working M-F but I thought I would be able to pick 12 hour shifts and work 3 days.
  5. For people who went to orientation this past week, were you guys added to the new SAKAI site? I heard that we were supposed to be added to the new SAKAI site by yesterday (Monday), but nothing seems to have changed...
  6. I am a close friend with someone who is currently doing MSN at Duke Nursing School. I've received lots of advices from her in terms of nursing and she told me that where you get your BSN isn't a big deal IF you are thinking of going to graduate school in nursing. If you plan to only get a BSN in nursing, then yes, where you get your BSN will be important. When applying to graduate school, she was very intimidated because her nursing school was neither competitive nor well known. But because she did well academically and had lots of experiences in serving community as an RN, she was able to get into the program. She also told me that very little of her classmates are from Ivy League schools. They did, however, come from various nursing schools with commitment to success and good GPA. Talking to her made me think of the saying "It's not where you start, but where you finish" Just thought I'd share my thoughts :)
  7. I also received an invitation for Duke Days even though I'm waitlisted. Did other waitlisted people get invited too?
  8. I searched the classes a few days ago, but I most/all of them had TBA for lecture time and location, so I didn't do anything else. Hopefully they will talk about it tomorrow!
  9. For people who were accepted, what date do you guys have to respond to the offer? I'm trying to figure out when waitlisted people will hear back again... Thanks!
  10. Hmm.. I have to take developmental psychology over the summer to complete pre-req. so I'm wondering if this also influenced their decision. Hopefully we'll both hear good news soon! Guess we'll just have to wait more.. :)
  11. Siss account. If you're already logged in, log out and relog in!
  12. Waitlisted :/ Anybody know how wait lists are ranked?
  13. Nvm, I found it! Thanks!!
  14. Is there a way you can link the class of 2020 Page here? I tried searching it on fb but can only find the class of 2019 one...
  15. When I went to the nursing info. session at UNC, they said that the past cohort had been 100-104 students, so it will probably be around 100 students.
