I'm in Los Angeles County and have been trying to reach out to multiple departments in LA Public Health Department but have not been successful (either their projects are not available or can not precept graduate students apparently) If anyone is in the LA County and has any information, I would really appreciate it and get in touch with you!

Hi all! I'm from California and I'm thinking about getting my MSN soon. I'm aiming for an emphasis in Public Health but I did see MSN programs with Population Health as the specialty instead of public health (ex. Chamberlain's). Is there any difference to these specialties? Would either of them be useful in the public health community regardless? Would love to know your thoughts! If anyone has done their MSN in Public Health or Population Health, I'd love to chat and get some insight! TIA ?

Hey all, did anyone receive any updates and/offers for those who interviewed for Dignity Health California Hospital New grad program? It’s for the Tele unit. Any info would be great! I interviewed with them a week ago and haven’t heard back. Just wanted to know the timeline! TIA ?

Are they suppose to call and let us know which day we will be interviewing in the first round?

Emailed the recruiter and she said they’ve already extended some offers. My portal finally changed to “not selected for further consideration” ??‍♀️ The search continues (once again) Anyways, good luck everyone!

I would assume they’ll start calling on Monday since they just changed the portal on Friday. Does your status say Interview Complete as well?

Mine doesn’t have “under consideration” after the “interview complete”, trying not to get my hopes up so hopefully they can update it again soon.

Hi there! I'd like to know if anyone has gone into Home Health as their first nursing job? If so, what were some pros and cons about it?
