  1. Has anyone herd anything from any Pediatric unit? I interview with the PICU and tried to get in touch with HR earlier this week but all I was getting were answering machines. This wait has me going crazy over here! Please update if you've herd anything and what unit. GOOD LUCK everyone, hope we all find out soon.
  2. I hope, but they're taking such a small group this cohort. But no, I'm in state/ local applicant.
  3. Yes same day, the unit managers asked me if I had time to do part 2. Hope we all hear back soon, getting very anxious.
  4. SAME! I mean did they even look at our resumes. On to the next I suppose. GOOD LUCK!
  5. Thanks for starting this! I saw that about the first 200 applicants. I wish they would just close it when it capped out at 200. @chocolatebuns, BSN, RN I believe thats all I did for the application too. I don't know anyone who applied so I will keep checking this for updates/ post if I hear of anything. Good Luck!
  6. Can't speak for L&D but I interviewed for PICU (1st with unit managers in the HR building and then 2nd with 4 PICU nurses at Ronald Regan). I was asked similar behavioral questions that the HR managers asked such as: -tell me about yourself -why nursing, why PICU -how do i handle stress -strengths/weaknesses I didn't get any prioritization or clinical based questions. GOOD LUCK!
  7. Oh wow GOOD LUCK!!! I interviewed for PICU and don't recall getting any clinical/ prioritization type questions, they were all general about me and behavioral questions. Good Luck again, everyone I met yesterday was extremely nice and welcoming. They didn't give me an exact date of when I should hear by but according to a flyer in this packet you will get it could be by 12/22 or 1/31? Kind of confusing and hoping we all know their decisions good or bad before Christmas. Good Luck again!!
  8. Thank you, I feel good about it but know they aren't taking a lot of new grads for this cohort so that worries me. Good Luck on your interview if you haven't already had it and be prepared for a lot of behavioral questions!!
  9. Check on my application and still says "under review". I applied for Cardiothoracic surgery ICU and Cardiovascular Thoracic ICU. If anyone gets any information on when they plan to send out interview offers let us know, this wait is killing me. GOOD LUCK everyone!!
  10. I precepted on 5west this summer. It's a step down unit, I worked with a lot of diabetics and kids with infections as well as the more stable vented kids. It got comfortable with those vents right away and felt that the nurses on that floor are so helpful and knowledgeable because unfortunately they do end up calling a lot of RRTs and or codes, one day we had 4 on the floor before 11am.

  12. Update: Received an email from the Talent Acquisitions today prompting me to sign up for an interview on 11/27 for the PICU, that was the only day that was offered and from there I got to pick my time slot. Hope this information helps. Good luck everyone!!!
  13. Hi fellow new grads- My status finally changed today from "online assessment complete" to "routed to interviewing supervisor." I applied to PICU (first choice), and Pediatric Oncology (second choice). I have not been contacted in any way, but will post something if I get a call. Good luck everyone!!
  14. Hey fellow new nurses! I got called today for the Heart Institute and scheduled a speed interview for 10/31! Good luck to everyone!!
