  1. Hello everyone! I was wondering if any of you had some advice or insight into TWU's FNP program? I was accepted for Spring 2021, but I don't know anyone who has experience with the program. Any help is appreciated!
  2. Just sent you an email! Thank you so much ?
  3. Any program updates from current students? I got accepted to Spring 2021 and wanted to know a student's perspective of it overall so far. Thank you!
  4. Hello! I was wondering if any current TWU FNP students have some insight into the program. I got accepted to the Spring 2021 cohort for the FNP program and just wanted to know what it was like from a student's perspective. Thank you in advance!
  5. Hello! I was just accepted to the Spring 2021 program and was wondering your opinion of the program or if you've received answers to your questions listed above. I am nervous about this program mainly because I do not know what to expect or the reputation of the school. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
  6. Hello everyone! I got accepted to the Spring 2021 online FNP program and was wondering if any of you have some insight/advice/tips into the program. I really am not sure what to expect or if it is manageable while working full time. Any help would be awesome. Thank you!!
  7. Hello everyone! I got accepted for Spring 2021 start date and am pretty in the dark about this program. From what I can tell, it seems very organized, and I know TWU is an established nursing school. Do any of you who have just started have some advice or know of friends who are in the program? Any help or tips are appreciated!
  8. Hi everyone! I just got accepted to Texas Woman's University's online FNP Program that starts Spring 2021. I was wondering who else is out there that plans on starting the program. Also, any current students who have tips/general advice about the program would be greatly appreciated. Excited and nervous to start this journey!
  9. I know of 2 people who received offers yesterday, but I personally haven't heard back yet.
  10. Has anyone heard back from Memorial Hermann TMC that had an interview yesterday? A friend of mine heard back this morning with an offer, but I was curious if it was just her unit or not. Rooting for us, guys!! Hopefully it works out for us all
  11. YESS! you and I are the exact same. I cannot believe this is how things have turned out. Not even that it's competitive, there are just no more jobs or available jobs anymore because of COVID. Hospitals have acquired a ton of debt and are not able to hire.
  12. I got an email yesterday evening around 5:30 pm about scheduling an Interview with Memorial Hermann. I have yet to hear anything back from HCA.
  13. I haven't heard anything yet from either hospital. Neither has anyone I know which is comforting I guess.
  14. I just got off the phone with MDA HR and they stated "the topic of Nurse Residency is not even a discussion anyone is having at this point in time". They basically stated that it is not a priority and they have no idea what they are going to do. So that was pretty discouraging. Just wanted to update yall.
  15. I received questions on March 16th for the Clinical Nurse Residency before I had even applied to the Leukemia unit; however, I now see a change in status update as of last week on my Leukemia application. I hope this helps answer your question!
  16. Hey guys as an update: my Leukemia Residency status has changed to "Under Recruiter Review" as of 3/26. I would take a look and see if yall have status changes as well! We will get through this mess of COVID-19 eventually LOL
  17. Sorry for any confusion @brittyyyyy and @Nursetay94! I was the one who stated my questions were not for the leukemia one! I know this because when I received the questions, I had not yet applied to the leukemia unit. I had only applied for the general clinical residency position. I hope that makes more sense!
  18. I applied ED, L&D, and ICU there! My second choice location was the TMC.
  19. From what I'm seeing, it seems like only the people who received questions for the initial Leukemia Clinical Nurse Residency application (that opened back in early February not the one that opened last week) have a status change. I received questions for the Graduate Nurse Residency Program (not for the leukemia one), and my application remains "Application Complete" like most of yalls. Is this correct we think? Or has anyone else received questions and a status change for the general Clinical Nurse Residency program? LOL I'm just trying to piece it together and see if I can find a trend in how they're doing this
  20. My first choice was Clear Lake and I got my second interview there! I applied ED, but am unsure which unit the interview was for since it wasn't specified in the voicemail.
  21. I applied for their ER as well! After the Pre-Screening day, I received a call from her to schedule an interview time; however, I haven't heard back since she left her voicemail. I'm hoping since you said the GN program is on hold, that's why she has not been back in contact with me to schedule my second interview. Thank you so much!
  22. She never specified which department! I woke up from night shift to a voicemail stating "to call back and schedule an interview time", so I did within a couple of hours, left a voicemail, and have not heard back since! I even tried calling again and emailing, but still nothing. Did you interview at all? Or have you also not heard back from the recruiter in general about scheduling a time? I'm sure it has to do with the coronavirus, but this all still makes me nervous! Glad to know I'm not alone!
  23. Hey guys! Late to the party but I have a question for Methodist Clear Lake people: I received a call on March 10th from the recruiter stating she wanted to schedule an interview time with me; however, I have not heard back from her since. I have attempted calling and emailing back but have not gotten in touch with her. I'm getting a little discouraged. Has anyone else heard back? This process is stressful!
  24. Thanks so much! I only received questions for the General Nurse Residency program last week and, like you, still see "application complete" as my status. That's awesome you received questions for the Leukemia one though! I applied last week so I'm assuming it'll be a while until I hear back about that one. I'm hoping it's a good sign too, and it means that we're one step further in the process.
  25. Thank you so much! I never applied initially to the Leukemia one, I only applied last week on the 17th to it. After you received the questions, did your status ever return to "application complete", or has it stayed "under recruiter review". I'm wondering if my status ever changed, since I did receive questions. Who knows though! This process has been pretty vague and scary LOL
