  1. @ross_diadame. have you decided if you will pursue your training in nephro? i 'm also having a hardtime deciding but i'm also weighing more of the advantages of nephro from other dialysis centers...they have a lot of branches and more exposures unlike others such as nkti where i really have to go all the way in east ave. from cavite to get trained.

  3. hi NelRN. I just had an orientation in Nephro mandaluyong last wed. Just email them at [email protected] and leave your name and when are you going to attend their orientation. And also bring a copy of your resume. Have you inquire some other dialysis training centers other than nephro?
  4. I agree with that too... That memorandum to stop volunteer programs for nurses is to give way on hiring nurses instead of accepting payments for volunteer programs in the hospitals. But I think we can't stop BACKER SYSTEM....
  5. The thing is if you're planning to work here in the Phils. it is ok to take local BLS, but if you are planning to work abroad anytime they say AHA accredited trainings are recognized even outside the country. In CCNAPI, updated BLS is a prerequisite of their ACLS since some BLS like in PNRC it is only valid for 2 years. There's a new 2010 guidelines released by ILCOR so there are changes from the last 2005 AHA guidelines, so if your bls card already expires they will require you to take updated BLS. Some hospitals recognized BLS in PNRC but some requires you to take another BLS w/c is more focused in Hospital and Healthcare settings. BLS in PNRC are good also bec. they are more comprehensive and covers different areas of rescuing people from first aid, caring for wounded person, pedia and adult cpr, moving and transferring wounded person, but it seems they are more focused on community settings. I believe that either w/ or w/o AHA in BLS or ACLS, it is more important that they still follow the new 2010 AHA guidelines in resuscitation. Right now like you I'm also thinking of taking updated BLS bec. my BLS card already expires. I've been inquiring into different healthcare institutions about their BLS schedule and training cost. Hope we get the best with the right cost...
  6. I think you're the one who misinterpret me. I'm just here to inform everybody about bls trainings in ccnapi and I'm not saying that CCNAPI is connected in PHC. They just have their office in PHC and they have to pay there but their training center is in d. tuazon qc. That's it.
  7. yes i know thats why I said they have different prices of trainings. But you still have to pay in phil.heart center though their trainings were conducted in d.tuazon qc...just called them yesterday.
  8. nice to hear more about hospitals hiring here...regarding bls,ecg training. I heard also that taking bls training in CCNAPI under also in philippine heart center is better that phc trainings. They have different prices, some are cheaper than phc. You can pay your bls trainings also in phc, they have schedule there. visit this: http://pinoynursetambayan.blogspot.com/2011/08/ccnapiseminarsworkshops-for-month-of.html
