My first job as an LVN was pretty much like yours, except my fellow nurse was there but she fell asleep HARD. I had to pass all the meds and keep an eye on the CNAs and the lights! Worked there for only 3 months until I found a better job. Be safe out there, remember it's your license on the line.

Hello all! I am new to this site, but am looking for any LPNs who are entering the RN program at Excelsior in January 2018. I live in Idaho and would like to see if there is anyone out here so we can study together maybe? Thanks in advance. And no I'm not a creeper :).

I am a Psych LPN and I get floated all the time to other floors more than the RNs. I pass meds, do CNA work, sitting duties. The only tasks that the RNs do is sit with a pt. It got so to the point where we have to write down who floated last because the RNs were arguing about who's turn it was to go next.

I talked to someone at EC today and they didn't tell me about the conference hybrid. How do you go about stuff like IVs, starting and maintaining? I work in Psych so we don't do "hands on". I am so confused right now. How many classes can you take in a 12 month period? Thanks for any advise.
