Hi, I will be relocating to the US soon as a nicu nurse,am really nervous,but I want to be ready for the task ahead. Although i have worked as a NICU nurse for 6 years in Nigeria,am aware of the enormous difference,and challenge ahead. Kindly recommend books,materials I can use to keep abreast with the procedures and responsibilities of a NICU nurse. Thank you.

I got nvc fee bill 11 weeks post i140 Approval,Avant has also paid for my immigrant visa,waiting for NVC to procees payment. Gradually making progress.

My i140 was also denied last year June,after a RFE my agency filled again this year febuary although I still got aRFE which I informed that USCIS is questioning their abilly to pay my salary in the us. I finally go approval 3 weeks ago.. Some agencies that have fewer candidates are getting more approvals than the ones with too many candidates. If your agency can give permission or end your contract with them,you can actually try using another agency.

Case approved finally.....after a denial,a rfe,and waiting for 3months.

May be its time to move on,considering what I went through last year,and yet a second rfe.am writing Avant to know their procedure for ending the contract and the implications for me.the emotional and psychological trauma is not funny. May be I will start afresh somehow .

I am exactly in the same position as you. Wrote nclex in may 2017,I 140 filled in June,got a rfe and then denial.Avant refilled in Feb only to get a mail again that there is another rfe.I don't know what to think at this moment.
