Orientation for LTC Nurses
I've only been an LVN for about 4 months now and been in my LTC facility for three months. I was given maybe 4 days of orientation and one of those days I was thrown in there. As much as I wanna say that was a "bad" experience.... It really helped me. A lot of the times people don't pay attention during orientation and then get thrown in and panic. Some (like myself) are lucky enough to get great nurses to train them. So by the time I was thrown in I knew exactly what to do (i.e who had BP meds, who were BS checks, who needed meds crushed, etc). Now that I've gotten it down I'm the one being shadowed by new nurses.

LTC Facility Nurse Interview
I wish I saw a post like this before my experience with applying to LTC because if I had known about certain situations I would have reconsidered my decision on taking the position.. oh well LOL

How long before your license shows on breeze?
You probably shouldn't pay for it yet if you haven't gotten your results through the mail because if worse comes to worst and you failed then you paid the $150 for nothing and there are no refunds. Just wait it out.

Pearson vue account
Just wait it out. That's all you could really do right now. I took mine 9/18 and got my letter saying a passed after a week. Some of my classmates got there's after 2-3 weeks.

Pearson VUE trick 2017 CALIFORNIA
I took mine on 9/18. Did the Pearson Vue trick the next day, got a good pop-up. Checked Breeze to see if I had the option of starting my licensure application which I did. Got my official letter yesterday. So one full week and three days. If you're doing the tricks and getting good pop ups then you shouldn't be so worried..calm down
