  1. Hello, my name is Peggy Manning, and I'm from Clio, SC which is about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Myrtle Beach. My husband and I will celebrate our 35th anniversary this year; we have three children and five grandchildren. I'm enrolled in the MSN-Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. I work full-time as a patient care supervisor (PCS) at a small rural hospital on the medical, surgical unit and have 19 years of experience. My professional goals post-graduation is to work as a nurse practitioner within this hospital or at one of our nearby facilities. The Advanced Pharmacology course personal objectives are to acquire advanced skills to preparation for my new role as APN. I'm excited to begin this new chapter in my career and looking forward to interactions with Dr. Thomas and my classmates. Thanks, Peggy
