Every unit is different. I think it may also depend on the talent acquisition person helping out the unit. Had my interview for niccu on Friday and was offered a position yesterday (: Good luck to everyone.

@ll2546 I'm sure they offer interviews for many different reasons, not just preceptorship. I think volunteering in the nicu will help if you don't have much clinical experience in NICU. Good luck!

@ll2546 By background do you mean qualifications/experience? My senior preceptorship was with a patient population similar to CHLAs niccu, among other things like volunteering. Hope this helps. Keep your head up! This is my second time applying but the first time interviewing with them. Don't get discouraged! (:

Hi everyone, I have an interview for NICCU tomorrow. They didn't specify if it was a speed interview or not but they said if it goes well then I will be asked to return November 10th.

Hey @jessica7. Welcome. I didn't know they were still interviewing. After my interview they told me I would be notified within a week also but now it's been 15 days since my interview and we most likely won't hear from anyone until at least Monday.

Probably. Unfortunate that it has to be that way. They make the people who sadly didn't get the job wait in painful anticipation while the people who did get to hear back much sooner.

It will most likely be a call and possibly a follow up email but I am not sure.

Someone from the NICU interview team told me I would be contacted by D******* L* from HR. Haven't heard anything yet though. Still trying to stay positive but not too hopeful at this point since looks like some people have already been called.

So anxious to hear back. I interviewed for the nicu. I saw someone on this thread already got a call yesterday so I'm not sure if that means all the calls for nicu were made. I felt like the interview went really well ): I called HR today but no answer or response just yet. Really hoping that they're still making calls for nicu...
