Awww thank you so much! I self reported and my case manager was really amazing. I had to tell my work I couldn't work. Went in for eval and am ok to go back to work. My 1 yr contract turned into a 3 yr contract with a 6 month key restriction. My DON is letting me keep my job and is working with my restriction. God is so good. His mercy and grace leave me speechless. Thank you for your support!

Hi..thank you all for your support, it most deff helps to know your not alone. Still waiting for test results. Found an AA group and hoping to get a sponsor at tonight's meeting. Reaching out to my counselor tomorrow and going back to relapse prevention. I'm hoping that will show my case manager I'm trying to correct my mistake. I look back at the stupidity of my poor choices and just shake my head. Keeping my chin up and praying non stop. I'm hoping my contract will get extended..I'm single and can't afford to stop working as a nurse..which is just nuts why I would have put myself in this situation. Should be hearing from my case manager this week when results are in. Will keep you all posted and thanks again for all hugs and support.

Thank you for responding. Do you know if I they will make me stop working? Or is that the one "freebie" they give for grace and will be able to keep working g and restart my contract over? Do you think I should contact my case manager and just tell him? Or just wait for them to contact me? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to figure out how to move on from here

Hi..please no judgement I am sick obout this. I am a nurse in KNAP and am going to test positive for alcohol and opiate. I have a script for the Opiate from my dentist for a bad tooth, but it's not listed on my meds through KNAP. I've already lost everything once, one would think I would have learned. I have severed anxiety related to PTSD from a sexual assault. I'm going to AA/NA again and searching for a therapist. Has anyone been through this? just wondering if they are going to revoke my license or will start my contract over. I was given a second chance and I completely blew it. It was hard to post this, just desperately searching for advice and support. I feel completely alone

I am already kicking myself, so please just need advice. I only have 7 mos to go in this program and had a dilute drug test after always having negatives. I also have a script for opioids that I have taken twice for a broken tooth, prescribed by my dentist, but not listed on my mess with KNAP. I am scheduled for another test today that is twice as much as normal. I have drank and will test positive. Does anyone know what kind of test, blood or urine? And with a positive test will my license be suspended or will they extend my license? I am currently working as a nurse..I have already lost everything once.
