Yeah I am actually already in my sophomore year in a nursing program at a private school but my tuition and commute are killing me so that’s why I was hoping to get into Suffolk.. I live not to far from Ammerman. Oh well I guess I will forever be in debt lol.

I wanted to get into the straight RN program but I am assuming I missed the cut off so they automatically applied me to the LPN which I do not plan to do... I didn’t apply to LPN but I guess they transferred my application over.

I applied for the RN program but I receive an acceptance letter into the LPN program. Good luck everyone!

Does anyone know if the part time evening program is less competitive then the day program? Also I did not receive anything in the mail yet but I applied to both Ammerman and Grant.. will I get a response from each or only one campus? Thanks!

do they look at the science portion on the TEAS at all? I know they say they don't but I find it hard to believe since this is a science heavy degree

Hi I plan to apply for the Spring 2019. How can I find out how many points I have and the rubric to go by? Also do you think this semester will be less competitive since more people may want to wait for the full 4 year program? Lastly if I took the TEAS in the past and did not do so good will they still allow me to retake it & go by the newest score or would they use the time I did not so good against me?

Hello, did you ever find a good LPN-RN program? I just got accepted into a LPN program in NY but I am debating if I should do it and then do my RN or just go straight to RN? How do you feel about your choice to do LPN first?

Hello, I know this is a old chat but I was just accepted into the program but debating if it is best for my family & I since I will have to pay high child care cost to attend. Does anyone know the hours of the program I was told it is Monday through Thursday but I have no idea about the hours or cost. =[

Hello everyone! I plan to attend a LPN program soon as a stepping stone while I work my way to RN but I was wondering if anyone knows the average salary rate for LPN on Long Island? Also do offices and urgent cares pay lower then nursing homes? Thanks!

I took the TEAS today and did not do so good. I got a 62 but have already completed many pre read. ENGLISH 101-B+ ENGLISH 102- A STATISTICS- B A&P1- B+ A&P2- B Psyc & His 101 completed (C & A) My question is do I even have a chance I'm so depressed and can't believe I didn't do better on the test. ;[

Did anyone not receive a letter yet I applied to both campuses and I live in Oakdale which is right in the middle of both and still no letter ;[

I called today after anxiously waiting all day and they told me all the letters went out yesterday I'm really hoping we find out within the next few days I am praying to get in but not too confident.

Once again my mailbox was empty;[ I really can't take this anxiety . . I wonder if only acceptance letters went out and denial letters are next ;[

My mailman usually comes at 1:30 of course today he is late! I can't take this anxiety anymore!

Congrats! Can I also ask you what did you get LOL on all of your prereqs and the teas I'm literally circling the mailbox with heart palpitations even though I highly doubt I got in LOL!

I have never been in any kind of nursing program so I will get an extra five points that way. So far my grades are* Stats: B Eng 101:B+ Eng 102: A Chem: B A&P1: B+ Lifespan dev: A Psyc 101: C ;[* His 101: A but I am unsure if this is the history they accept* Sociology: B+* I am currently taking a&p2 at Suffolk Community College but obviously will not be finished until December. On my teas exam that I received* Math: 84.4* Reading 63.8 English 62.5* With that being said does anybody know what my overall point score would be I also have other credits through Suffolk Community College but I think these are the only important ones that count towards nursing. I am wondering if I will get in with these scores and grades I plan to apply next week.

Did the grant lady tell you when the letter should be coming out by any chance? I am dying for mine I put grant as my first choice ;[

I apply for both Grant and ammerman do you think both schools will send out the response at the same time?
