  2. An AA in nursing is pretty much pre-nursing. While an AS is the training course (nursing school) I finished the RN program 2016 and yes I was working as nurse's aide til that time. Got my license 8/2017
  3. Yes I am. I've applied to hospitals, nursing homes, rehab centers, healthcare clinics and doctors offices. I've got a per diem at a nursing home but I only get like 2 shifts a month

  7. I thought my resume might have been the problem so I had it redone professionally. $200 later not even and interview.
  8. I have honestly thought about relocating however I'm back in school persuing Bsn. I'll be done in Dec. If I don't dont get anything by then I'm gone.
  9. I got my rn license in August of 2017. It is not February 2018 and I still having been able to secure a job. I have associate of science and currently in schoo doing the bsn.I live in south Florida. Why is it so hard to get a job? I'm not even getting interviews. What can I do to increase my chances of getting a job? I thought there was a shortage of nurses.
  10. You should give the a call and check for your name on their website. I did mine on the 25th of July. I emailed about it. On the 3 of August the responded to my email and posted my license number online. I received physical documents in the mail about a week after.
  11. They post the lic # on the 03 of August and responded to my e-mail that same day.
  12. They posted it on August 3rd. And sent an email saying I should receive it in the mail within 7-10 business days. Guess NY BON is backed up or just slow.
  13. I took my Nclex with NY BON on the 25th July 17. My unofficial result said I passed. However my name still haven't appeared on the website. Should I call or give them some more time?
