Hi,
Is anyone else interviewing for a new grad RN position at UCLA? I have an interview scheduled in a couple of weeks for the ICU and I haven’t seen many people talking about their new grad program so I thought I’d start a thread ?
Sorry for the unsolicited advice but if you’re doing your preceptorship right now I would strongly recommend keeping track of all the interventions you’re doing and any interesting patient stories. So many of my interview questions, including the one...
I interviewed for CTICU today and I asked about the timeline as well. She said she would be conducting interviews through Tuesday and then would have to notify HR of their decision and then HR would notify candidates. She said it might be 10-14 days ...
I have another offer too so I’m in the exact same position. UCLA is my dream but I don’t want to potentially lose out on this offer and then also not receive an offer for UCLA. I’m planning to ask about their timeline for hiring during my interview! ...
I saw something about initial interviews being conducted in September and that combined with the November start date makes me feel like there will be multiple rounds. However I think for the January 2021 cohort they only did a single round of intervi...
Does anyone know when the program starts? I've looked everywhere and I can't find a date. I'm planning to ask during the interview, but it would be super helpful to find out beforehand.
I was not an extern, but in their info session they said around 50% of the last cohort had Kaiser experience so they definitely give strong preference to people who worked or rotated at Kaiser
They didn't give specific details at the info session but they said interviews would be held mid August and offers would be made the last week of August or first week of September. I would assume they will have contacted everyone who got an interview...
I'm not but it sounds like they're looking at applications holistically with a focus on patient care experience, teamwork, etc. so I don't think applying with an ADN necessarily counts against you
From your earlier post - I also saw that we have to enroll in three courses, which is why I checked the enrollment date. I'm assuming that the classes will be offered at multiple times but I could be wrong about that. I'd like to enroll as soon as po...
Does anyone else see "pending" under their application status when they log in to MyCSUStan? Also does anyone know where we can find our enrollment dates?
