Hi there! I was selected as an alternate which expired 12/31/2017. I never got contacted. I applied again this term but didn't receive anything yet. If you emailed me through here, I tried to reply but because my account is new it didn't allow me to. Sorry

Just got an email from them stating that I have been chosen as an Alternate. Good news! You have been chosen as an ALTERNATE for the PCC Career Ladder Nursing Program. This means that you continue to have an opportunity to be selected to come into the Career Ladder Nursing Program in the event a selected student declines the invitation to enter the program. If you are selected to replace an individual you will receive an email to that effect. You will have 24 hours from the email to reply before we offer the admission to another alternate. Please do not call the office to check on your status as we will contact you immediately if your status changes. Your alternate status ends on December 31, 2017. A new application, sealed official transcripts, copy of current California LVN license, TEAS transcript and applicable supporting documents will need to be submitted. Previous application packets are no longer kept on file by the department. Prior application packets are shredded for your security. Please note these important changes to the Career Ladder Program: Applications will be accepted from January 22 – February 21 2018 for the Summer 2018 cohort. TEAS VI is required for all applicants including those with a Bachelor's or higher degree A one page course description for all prerequisite courses not taken at PCC is required. I just got an email reply from them. It says we won't know until November.

No updates. I emailed earlier this week and no response so far.

Okay got it! I think there were different deadlines for the RN program and the LVN-RN program. I think we start spring for the transition course. It's been over 10 weeks since our deadline and we still haven't heard anything

Was this deadline July 1st? I thought it was for Winter 2018

It's killing me too! I didn't focus on applying to other schools because I thought we would have heard from Pasadena by now. They said 10 weeks but this is already the 11th week. My next application will be Rio Hondo. They are Oct 1-31st. I have A's in my pre-reqs, 92 TEAS, and I wrote a sob story about my life for the extra point. Keep me posted!
