  1. I think you should first ask yourself how you learn best. Are you a visual learner or do you understand things best after you read them? We all learn in different ways so start by asking yourself what has worked best for you in the past and what methods you prefer. I took Anatomy during the summer period which was fast paced and intense. However, I relied heavily on coloring books, flash cards, YouTube, and study groups. I highly recommend the Interactive Biology channel on YouTube for Physiology concepts. He explains it in a very clear and concise way which my Physio prof could never do. So my tips are to find out how you learn best, get the tools ready and find your tribe in class as it's a collaborative effort for many of us in these classes. Good luck!
  2. Hi! I'm happy to have found this thread. I'm applying for the FNP track and am working on my personal history statement. Does anyone know how long this has to be? The goal statement needs to be two pages per the website, but there's no specification for the personal history one. Last summer I had to retake Statistics after finding out that they had changed their recency requirement. Although I finished up with my pre-reqs last summer, I decided to hold off on my application as I wanted to gain more experience working with patients and providers and really find out which specialty was best for me. Best of luck to those taking classes this summer and applying! Looking forward to hearing about others :)
