Levo,BSN, In my experience, it took 3 weeks! But was due to several factors: missing document, needed to update information, the hurricane (Florida). Maybe yours will be quicker. But from commissioning to recieving orders that can take about 2 months. I know 2 people that was wating 2 and 3 months. For me, its been a month and still have no orders. I commissioned Oct 17th for 66P.

It's official! I signed my contract for the Army Reserves as a 66P (family nurse practitioner). My rank is Captain. I am excited for this new experience and the opportunity to serve my country.

I'm glad I saw this. I want to order those same boots. I feel better spending the money on them knowing that they are truely comfortable like the reviews say.

Yes! Found out I came off the OML. I should be commissioning next week. Anything I should know regarding the contract besides making sure my time or service and bonus is correct? 4-6 weeks for orders huh, why so long? Do you not know what unit you will be going to yet?

How was the commissioning ceremony? How was the process after being commissioned? How much was for uniforms? How long after being commissioned did you get orders for when you would start drilling?

I was told I may be coming off the OML for the Army (Florida) to be commissioned but it has not been finalized yet. I should know within 30 days. Fingers crossed!!!
