  1. It's been many months n we still cannot graduate due to clinicals, avoid ichs please
  2. You ar not alone @KittyLVN2. I hope everyone listens to you. Due to covid clinical req were lifted in FL and still ICHS is holding back students from graduating because they have no clinical dates. They minus well let us due virtual clinicals because the main thing done is clinicals is a bed bath, most of us are already nurses and have far more skills than that. Everybody is accepted at ICHS, but not eceryone finishes. Once you invest your money, you don't have any choices, except to put up with whatever S(*t that is dished. @KittyLVN2...was you able to find any dates for clinical??
  3. They will take whatever preq's are from an accredited college. I have courses from accredited universities. I only used straighterline for a science course. Call ICHS they will tell you if they will accept your credits or not.
  4. Did they agree to let you take capstone with med surge 2 and maternity/peds?
  5. It's simple/ grammatical incorrect nursing questions. Honestly I wouldn't waste time studying for it. Study for pharmacology using D/H or if you use dimensional analysis... good luck
  6. well the pharm test... its a ATI exam, but there a few so IDK which study guide to buy
  7. I'm happy for you, you will be finished before you know it!!
  8. There was two pharmacology questions..one required a pediatric dosage.... Know how many feet you stand a patient back when doing an eye exam... The rest of the question were basic prioritizing nursing care . It was over 100 questions.... They won't let you see any results afterwards...they verbally tell you..."we'll give you credit for ...xyz" Honestly...many of my questions were misspelled and used colloquial english like a 7th grader wrote them....I wasn't sure what the hell was going on... I wonder if anyone else test was like this????
  9. any questions that you have about the gas I will be happy to answer it because I had many questions and nobody answered it besides saying that it was a Hesis exam
  10. Thanks, I've been trying to find out the cost , and info about medical prep institute, but no one ever picks up.
  11. I know this thread is old but any info on this school, price etc would be appreciated!!
  12. Have you heard of medical prep institute?
  13. Thanks! International college of health and science raised the tuition and don't accept financial aid,so I'm searching for another school.
  14. Medlife is still open it's called PBS palm beach school of nursing, I didn't know that was that one though
  15. Did you find out any information about the program, if so please share!
  16. yes, I've made several phone calls and emails and have been given the run around. I see on this website someone mention a LPN-RN program thats 6 months and accredited, Siena College of Health...I trying to find more information about that or an online accelerated BSN program. Indian State I did a little research and it is almost 3 years. Nursing is a second career for me I have several degrees in psychology and social work. So I'm trying to do a shorter route if possible....however than you for replying ! I appreciate that yes, I heard a year ago ICHS was only 10,000. I feel they should have Tap and Pell if they decide to raise the tuition almost $40,000...we are not RN's yet! I know I don't have that kind of money yet to pay out of pocket, and feed my family!
  17. Anyone know of a similar structured online lpn to RN school, that doesn't have a cpne components like excelsior. ICHS doesn't allow students to see their GAP results, and verbally tell you what you passed or not. I'm beyond skeptical about what they claim my results are, as I have several other degrees two psychology and they expect be to believe I failed that component of the exam. When the exam was very easy, and they won't give me credit. Part of me believes it to get more money for additional classes. If job security wasn't a issue or childcare due to the current pandemic, maybe it wouldn't matter to me..but right now it does! I think of a A-BSN, program that cheaper and ACCEPT FASFA...but if there anyone who know of any other ONLINE ADN programs similar to ICHS ..please let me know. I heard of west palm beach but they currently don't have accreditation.
  18. The school cost 35,000 unless you take the GAP and skip a few classes, then it's 24K. No fasfa accepted (financial aid) if you can't get meritize loan then you have to pay out of pocket between 1000-2,200 per month.
  19. Does anyone know if ICHS exams are Proctered with proctorU. My experience through straighter line with proctorU was HORRIBLE!!
  20. Anyone has any study guides for the GAP analysis Exam??? Please share!
  21. I'm doing the labs for the sciences as well. The kit came a few days ago. I feel stressed to finish in time
  22. I'm taking straighter line courses
  23. Hapaness908 I know many graduates and now it's officially accredited. The even have a nurse practitioner school. You can complete the prequisites before June if you want TBH
  24. vivi310 did you complete all your prerequisites yet? Are you using straighter line too?
