  1. I did too! I’m wondering how well things are going to go with COVID going on. Hopefully everything will be safe by the time we start clinicals
  2. A lot of programs will still require you to have all of your pre-reqs before being admitted. I was also a Medic in the Army. Just got out this March. There are a few programs out there for us to fast track to get our license in one semester for LPN and 2 semesters to get your RN. But congrats on passing without having to sit thru class. To answer your question California is SUPER strict when it comes to honoring a license that was attained through examination. You may have to go to another state to do a bridge program then come back! U of Southern Nevada I believe has a LPN to RN bridge . I would suggest Excelsior bc they are really military friendly and fully accredited BUT it would be hard finding work in California
  3. I decided not to apply. Going to TCAT LPN program instead. Will bridge over later! Good luck everyone! If all else fails try NSCC nursing program.
  4. Congrats!!! I'm applying to the Franklin campus for September. My HESI scores (took the test before i moved back to TN) was an 84 in Math and 86 reading! I spoke with the instructor at the campus and was told that although there are no guarantees anything in the 80s is a great chance! OP what were your hesi scores?
  5. Awesome. I wonder what the typical cut off point is for each class that would make or break my decision on retaking the teas. Have they put out a class schedule yet? I saw that funds of nursing is the only class the first term!
  6. I'm applying next Fall. Do you mind me asking your scores? I got proficient on TEAS (10 pts) and a 3.3 GPA. How hard was the process?
  7. Do you guys mind sharing your GPAs or do you know the average GPA in the class? With the new point system I'm looking at 15 points. My GPA is horrible though bc they consider the cumulative instead of the pre-req so I'm sitting at a 2.8 overall and a 3.6 for the pre req GPA. Do you guys think I have a chance. I'm getting out of the military soon and I want to use my medical training to continue to nursing ACT 21=5 pts AP 1=3 AP 2=3 Micro=3 Psy=1

  9. One more question lol. I've got one more pre-req I need to finish in the spring. I'm wondering if that will be too late to apply for Fall 2018??
  10. Congrats!!! And good luck! I'm feeling confident about my scores so fingers crossed!!!
  11. This give me sooooo much hope☺️☺️ I'm getting out of the Army soon and didn't want my medical experience to go to waste!!! Thanks!!!
  12. Do y'all mind posting GPA and TEAS levels. I'm applying for the next class and I'll have a 3.2 GPA Aand I'm proficient. I'm thinking about taking the test again to go for advanced. Since I now have more science knowledge. I was 1 point of from advanced. I think it's worth the try!
  13. Does anyone want to share their HESI exam scores?? I'm applying to the January 18 class when I get out of the military soon. Just want to see if I need to retake it for a higher score. My reading was 88 and Math 82
  14. How did it go? Did you get in? That's a great gpa
  15. Did you know their gpa and teas scores?
  16. Hey guys. Would anyone mind sharing their admission points on here??? I want to apply to the RN program when I get out of the military in January. I know its a while away but I just need to know what my odds are considering they only accept 50 students each Fall and more than 300 apply. Right now with my GPA and the Teas score Im looking at 48 points (3.3 GPA and 15 ATI score advanced). Hopefully I can max out at the interview!!!
