Update : ( if anyone comes across this post) Finally passed A&P section of HESI A2 exam and all other sections , 4 days prior to submitting application to LVN-RN bridge for El Centro College, sent via email all needed documents, castle branch etc is all up to date. MAY 2021 acceptance letters will be sent! Can't wait! very excited!!

Yayyyy so excited for everyone! I am retaking my HESI tommrow! for a higher A&P grade, pray for meee! But I have applied to another school that starts in May and plan to down size as well! So once I kind of reduce my hours I will be able to maintain bills as well. Super smart of you! I will apply once my final HESI scores are up! May will be here before you know it!

I did mine in person. I am not sure about if they would accept online because a instructor would typically watch you do skills on a dummy to ensure knowledge and skill in a real life situation

Is anyone applying to the LVN-RN bridge instead of the ADN? that's the one I am applying for by the 15th of this month

So I am deciding between them also, however I know el centro accepts 30 students for their bridge program, does any one know how many students are accepted in the Tvcc bridge LVN-RN?

Can you advise on how you got a 100 on the A&P section of the HESI?! I received a 76 and would LOVE to get a 90 or higher, that is the section I struggle most with due to overthinking, or can you give a link of where I can refresh even further? I have a HESI book I use and also used the code within to practice but I do not think its enough to you know get a higher score for me

Hello All! I am planning to apply to the bridge program for Fall of 2021, the only thing holding me back is my A&P score on the HESI A2 exam. I plan on retaking it in a month before I apply via email which is required due to COVID. I wanted to ask everyone what points are do they have prior to applying and being accepted. I really would like to get into this program due to the fact it is in close instead of driving far. I made a 76 on the A&P section of the HESI so I only needed 4 pt to even get in with a score of 80 ? anyway I will study study study, I have my immunizations up to date and other things needed on Castle branch, ( word of advise upload as early as possible so everything can be in the system in time for the deadline of Feb. 15 2021 for Fall) SO ready to apply and be accepted and become a RN

Hello All! I haven't seen a thread just yet for the LVN-RN bridge program for May of 2021 , and was curious to see how many points everyone applied with? I am currently at 30 pts due to me not having any seniority of going to TVCC prior. I am going to apply to El Centro also and I have a better chance on getting into that program if only I can manage to test higher on my A&P section of the HESI , which I will retest in month ( fingers-crossed) hopefully my little 30 pts will let me into this program due to the fact it starts earlier than el centro's which is the Fall of 2021.

Right that's what I am trying to figure out. I work overnight so it's possible to still work but the fact it's a hour drive kindaaaaaaa hurts my schedule.

I think You will def get in! I have a first choice nursing program that I am trying to get into its Weatherford county and it's easier to get into just maybe 15 more minutes further to drive from Forth worth. I've only been a PCT for 4 years and went to orientation for them last week for more info.

Hey everyone! I applied also for the Fall 2018 semester with 11 points. From previous forums it looks like most with 7 points or higher get into the program. However I am very curious to how the scheduling will be. If you took AP already does that mean we have to take it again within the curriculum in the first semester? I am very curious about that because I have taken the course already. Also does anyone know anyone who was previously in the program? Maybe a facebook page for our upcoming class would be ideal and faster for us to communicate. I work night shifts so I think I can make going to class 5 days a week would be okayyy I would just be sleep deprived. But its worth it. Any way I look forward to seeing everyone and I believe letters should be sent out in May :) I can't wait to find out if I'm in or not

From my knowledge Ap 2 isn't required , I also received a C in AP1 and I'm taking AP 2 this spring 2018, they have another class that is Psych which I have a B in. That helps your chance of selection, however I am a PCT and going to do that Track instead and test out a clinical! Make sure your immunizations are updated (Hep A ) I started my series already it's quite expensive! I am taking the Hesi Tomorrow and my goal is atleast a 90 in each section to better my selection ! I would take the Hesi over if I were you just to have a higher chance also....

Apparently I was kicked out of the facebook group you made for the LVN program of 2017 ?? Why is that? I am literally applying for the Fall 2018 semester PCT to LVN and wanted advice and suggestions from people who are accepted so we all can be successful together ... I am offended and can't wait to prove that I will get into this program , I will request again but I seriously think it was rude that I was kicked out for asking for advice

Hey guys ! I thought it would be smart to start a thread on the LVN program in tarrant county for the 2018 year! I am willing to drive out my way for this program and can't wait to become a nurse after being a PCT for 3 years ! I have a C in AP 1 and a B in psychology which are the pre reqs and I will be taking the Hesi in December 2017, I am confident I will score high however .... the math portion! I am not the best in math but I will be studying my butt off! I am so determined and wanted to know has anyone else taken it yet?! Can't wait to get in and learn together ! I will eventually maybe start a Facebook page where we can advise each other and keep in contact
