I’m honestly hoping they haven’t selected the whole cohort based on the few who say they were called alone. Fairly certain they have yet to reach out or send formal acceptance letters since they are not yet accredited. The director had mentioned not being able to formally admit students until then. Based on the COA website, their meeting is this week (may 25-27) which is when I believe they will be formally told and can send out letters. Hopefully that includes more acceptances than just those who got that Monday call and those return emails were true and not just a way to divert ?

I totally understand! It seems like emails have been going out before 10am or a bit after, so I'd look after that so you aren't like I was (hitting refresh constantly). Fingers crossed for you!! Hopefully see you there :)

I've heard the same regarding the orientation letter. I got in first round for Fort Wayne and haven't gotten anything, so I'm guessing we still have spots open!

Has anyone take A&P 101 or 102 online? I'm considering moving from the on campus one to online but I wasn't sure if that was a good idea. I'm most concerned about it interfering with my retention to just be there 2x a week for 4 hrs at a time

For anyone at the Fort Wayne campus going in, does anybody know for sure what color the scrubs are for the ASN program? I only took one pre-req class there and never really saw anybody wearing scrubs when I was there so I was wondering.

Not that I know of for Fort Wayne only, there is the one they've mentioned here for the program in general! That's all I know of though.

I got my acceptance email from the Fort Wayne campus!!! So exciting!! CONGRATS TO EVERYONE SO FAR!!

That's actually quite a relief to hear about the campus acceptance! I still am not sure exactly what I still need immunization wise but I picked up my immunization record from my high school the day after I applied, so I'll review it this weekend. Luckily I get my TB test done through work and my first aid and CPR certification too. So hopefully all of that and my immunizations are taken care of completely. I don't remember specific requirements, I'll have to review them again and make sure I have everything in order.

Leadkrm how did your clinical go today? Are you liking it so far? :) hopefully all is well for everyone so far today too.

It really seems like it from everything I'm gathering, it's so hard to get in then ive heard it's incredibly demanding and everyone I've talked to seems consumed by it. I got through my junior year at IPFW with a biochem degree before deciding I didn't want to teach/do labwork/fieldwork and it was honestly way easier than this is looking. @-@

I know what you mean, it's been nice to talk to people in the same boat on the same journey! I think it's never too early to look into scholarships, if nothing else get info on the deadlines! :)

Oh it isn't until Friday? I was under the assumption it would be Thursday not really realizing it was Thursday that it ended at midnight. That's even worse! Darn
