I just got accepted for Spring semester at the Modesto campus with 73 points.

Did your status change or did you get an email?

I got a few messages from employers and volunteer coordinators that they called to confirm my documentation.!

I thought they didn't allow this because then everyone would apply at Columbia and take the MJc classes instead? I heard of special circumstances but I know they frown on it. Unless it has changed but hopefully it works out for you and all of us waiting for their reply!

I have "processing application." I got my official "supporting documents" email yesterday morning but I already all my paperwork together.

I just came from the office and asked how many people they put on the waitlist, she said out of the 120 applicants, 40 are selected for fall and 40 for spring and the rest are on the waitlist. For acceptance, we will get emails and if are on the waitlist and get picked, we will get a phone call.

How did she turn it in if there's no email with instructions?

Yes, Vie and Marcos sign that form! I went to Marcos. I didn't know they helped with filling it out though, wish I would have known earlier so I would have completed. I'm excited though!

Hello, I believe people are getting confused on the two different counselors available at MjC. Marcos and Vi are regular counselors who have partnered up with the nursing department to help with the GE and general questions for the application. The nursing department is not holding appointments since it is summer. So any specific details and questions about nursing school such as: getting upper level coursework in Lieu of lower level coursework, etc. needs to be discussed with the nursing program. I think you should ask the teacher. I have a friend who finished third semester and she was telling me how she uses and IPad to add to her pdf notes for the class.

From what I heard from friends, you can't change semesters and you will lose your spot.

I would have to apply and fight for my upper level classes to be accepted. I'm not sure about that drive though. I will check it out today

I am in micro now with Lucas! It's easy but only because I have taken it before and worked as a micro tech too. But the points at Delt favor those with jobs in the field.

I took micro at CSU stan and got a C. So taking at a lower level will get me more points for a B or A. I have a bachelors degreee so I get more points for that. I just hope that I don't have to wait forever. I was thinking of applying for delta for fall but I would have to see if they'll accept my upper level physio. Last time I called they asked me if MJC accepted them. So I might have to fight but my points are in the 65 area. Not sure if that's even worth it.
