  1. Submitted my app 4/29, now we wait. I'm just joining, will sit for NCLEX at the end of the Summer.
  2. For all who have received the finalist emails, what scholarship is this for? It seems really early to be getting notifications for Nurse Corps scholarship.
  3. I think we use the FAFSA we filled out in 2018 for the 2019-2020 school year.
  4. I think I just misunderstood. We are using the FAFSA we filled out in 2018 that reflects you 2017 income. I thought you were saying we needed to use the 2017 FAFSA that would reflect 2016. Was just taking what was said too literally lol.
  5. I have looked over the guide thoroughly and did not see it stated anywhere that we needed to use our 2017 FAFSA. I am confident we are supposed to use 2018. Feel free to correct me if you know where it states that in the guide.
  6. Does anyone know if the Essays should be submitted in APA format? Also, I am applying for the nurse corps scholarship as I am in a Direct Entry MSN program that does not lead to an NP, from what I understood the National Health Service Scholarship is just for NP/DNP correct? Thanks
  7. Good luck to those still waiting! I've never heard of them extending the deadline so I can only imagine that means there is still hope. I do know they let people in off the waitlist close to the start of the program in previous years. For every one that is still waiting or that has even been declined, don't lose heart, it took me a few years to get into the program I wanted. Don't get discouraged, keep trying, keep working, it will happen!
  8. Found the group! Thanks for creating it!
  9. I can't find it?
  10. Awesome will do!!
  11. So, I'll ask again, has anyone started a Facebook group for our cohort? Also, in case anyone is interested I talked to financial aid today and we should get financial aid info sometime in March. I will be spending the evening applying to every scholarship I can find.
  12. I just got my acceptance email!!! So excited, I really can't believe it.
  13. Has anyone received a waitlist email? Just curious if they have started yet.
  14. Not necessarily. We could still be wait listed or a late acceptance after the second wave. Also not sure if the snow delayed notifications at all.
  15. @Smugrad04 Congratulations!! Did you also get an email??
  16. I haven't either. What it means is that we were not in the first wave of applicants they want to accept. So, the people they have made offers to have three weeks to accept. Then they make more offers dependent upon how many spots they still have starting around the first week or so in February. Its ongoing though and some people will be wait listed or declined in the same time frame which can last through April. Hope this helps, there's still hope but we weren't at the top.
  17. @JFO93 Congratulations! Do you mind sharing your stats?
  18. I've refreshed my inbox so many times today. I hate this part.......
  19. I think the first acceptance notifications went out around this time last year. Anyone heard anything?
  20. I feel pretty good this round just a little anxious about my GRE scores, quantitative was not good, but not sure I would do any better retaking it. Wish they would do away with the requirement. Anyone applying for SU's APNI program?
  21. I submitted my app Oct 1st. In the info session they said it would be maybe as early as January. Good luck to everyone!
  22. Have you thought about uw's accelerated bsn?
  23. No, I only applied to PLU which I regret now. I will apply again next year and also to Seattle U and maybe tcc, thinking about the OTA program at Bates too.
  24. Did you apply anywhere else WonkaBar?
  25. Well guess I was right to be anxious I got my denial email today. Thought I would at least be waitlisted since I was waitlisted last year. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!
