  1. Hey girl,I was in a similar situation after I graduated from high school.I had a good enough average to get into nursing school (88) and I applied for nursing schools late.I ended up taking Anotomy and Physiology 1&2, first year English, first and second year psychology and a nursing course at TRU and I did it all while working. I would advise you to either upgrade your 2 or 3 lowest marks which your nursing school is using to calculate your gpa or just do both parts of Anatomy and physiology with the intention of getting a higher mark than you did with your high school biology. You mentioned above that you dont think you're smart enough or something of that sort.I just to remind you to never despair or give up on your dreams, and NEVER compare yourself to others. You don't know whether people are earning their grades honestly or whether they've gotten past exams papers to study or if they've done a course 2 or 3 times to pass it.So never judge or compare yourself to others.I've had a few classmates who took A&P twice before they passed with satisfactory grade. Another thing is that they are nursing schools easier to get into such as College of New Caledonia in Prince George, North West Community College in Terrace or even the simple TRU. I know you are probably looking for schools inside Alberta but sometimes great rewards require great sacrifices. Currently I am admitted at Okanagan College to do their collaboration with UBC. I'm confident you'll get in somewhere just don't give up on your dreams. If you ever need to talk PM me or email me at [email protected]. Best of luck
  2. Hey, I've created a group on Facebook for Nursing Students Attending Okanagan College in the fall whether Practical or BSN. The group name is "2017-2018 Okanagan College BSN". Please feel to add yourself or pass on the message to other nursing students.I created the group so that us Nursing students can share our difficulties, victories and offer advice. If you encounter any difficulties joining the group please email me at [email protected] or private message me on here.
  3. Yep feel free to ask anything
  4. Hello everyone!! I am attending Okanagan College for the BSN program in fall 2017 and is looking for somewhere to rent. I am also looking for roommates or anyone who is renting. I consider myself to be really tidy, well organized and I usually keep to myself. If you are viewing this post and is looking for a roommate or know someone who is renting please contact me at [email protected]. Please also contact me with any info on renting or if you are struggling to find a place. I'm a really open and easy to converse with. I also do not mind sharing with someone who is attending the UBCO campus.
