hello yall I am currently in my last semester for my rn to BSN and taking leadership. This is my second time taking this class and its holding me back from graduation. I'm ready to graduate but i need some help. I'm recently turned in my pico question but my professor is not happy. I am doing my pico on nurse retention. I am doing my clinicals on a non profit community facility that is struggling with nurse staffing. The hospital is broke so there is no tuition reimbursement or loan repayment. I came up with the idea to add the facility as a critical nursing shortage to nursecorps. Nursecorps accepted the facility and now if the staff sign a 2 year contract they can get up to 85% of their nursing loan repaid. Nursecorps can also help nurses go back to school with some grants. This keeps the hospital from spending any money and helps attract nurses to this facility. I wanted to make brochures to new hires and promote it around the hospital so the nursing students can be enticed to sign a2 year contract. My professor says thats not enough and i need to do more or else i fail the semester. I feel like she is giving up on me and says "we offer this class next semester". Allnurses, I dont want to take this a class a 3rd time. Please help!! what am i missing? any ideas?
