Hi! I’m writing to see if any practicing NPs or even current NP students could give me some advice! I’m about to start my MSN in August and am currently enrolled in the Acute Care track. My background is in critical care, so it made the most sense for me, but now thinking more about it, I am conflicted between Acute Care and Adult Gero. My main concern is that I don’t want to be limited in terms of areas of practice and am worried that with an Acute Care speciality, this will limit the places I could potentially work. Does anyone have a good breakdown of the two and what job opportunities / outlook might look like? Thanks!

We are taking 19 credits for the summer which includes patho and pharm, you should probably get the email anyway soon if you just sent in your paperwork.

they sent out an email today explaining what classes to register for and how clinical would work etc

yep - registered earlier today!

Classes start May 22 and orientation is the week before that!

has anyone received any info from GW on registration/orientation yet?

they sent the scholarship email to me on Tuesday of this week

Hi Marnat, I was accepted last month for Summer 2017 cohort. Just backtracked my emails from GWU, hope this helps: Jan 25- prelim review notice Jan 30- sent for formal review Feb 14- decision email sent I also got the email about the scholarship with GWUH!

Has anyone received acceptance for Summer 2017 Start?! Most of the thread is for Fall, but I was accepted for Summer so was just wondering! Also, have any of you done the W2 interview yet, if so how was it?
