hi! i applied to bowie states absn- have you heard back yet?

REALLY!?! they said that about the traditional program too and they all heard back last week!!! and yes other schools with Jan deadlines all heard back or have atleast emailed saying they will let us know by an exact date! :/ I hope they are closer to the mid April- next week time frame than the end! Thanks for calling and letting us know :)

I used to work in the hospital as a nursing assistant and i remember when we had student nurses come, they would lift patients and assist with holding up patients to the bathroom and such. But I remember we had a few students who had bad shoulders and backs and we would always help them! And from what I've read everyone helps each other- so I wouldn't worry about it! :) I hope you feel better and everything is ok!

Wow!! Thank you so much for sharing your insight! I applied to a couple of schools and GMU was def. my first choice! I live in Maryland, so any of the schools I've applied to I will have to pay out of state costs and so cost isn't much a factor when making my decision. It was definitely based on the length of the program and quality of the program. Have people spoken up about this? I would really hope so! Especially since the experience during clinical is very crucial I really appreciate your honesty!

Hi Lawyer- How long did it take you to hear back from GWU? I got an email last week saying my application was sent to the committee for final review. Just wanted to know when to expect to hear something? Congrats on getting in :) Hope to hear from both soon!

Congrats!!! I applied for the ABSN but have no heard anything yet- been refreshing/checking my email all day! @NeurolCURN17- are you talking about the traditional program or the accelerated? I have heard different things about both programs- the traditional one is run less smooth than the ABSN? Is that true?

Still going stir crazy waiting! :) hoping to hear tomorrow or early next week! Anyone have any updates? :)

Haha! I know how you feel! I get a notification every time a I get a new email or if i'm on my computer- i get the little (1) next to inbox and get anxious and keep refreshing! @LayerRN2b- I got an email about visiting the nursing school after the transfer student visit. The next one is April 4th. :) I can send you the information if you would like!

Ahh!!! I would be so nervous opening an email from them to only see Happy Birthday on it! haha Happy belated birthday to all of you :) I'm from Maryland, so I have not gotten many emails from them except a reminder email to send in my transfer student deposit! I'm finishing up my classes this semester and I thought these next two weeks would go by because of exams but nope- still anxiously waiting! I'm really nervous because reading the older posts and other forums people with high GPAs did not get in. (mine wasn't the BEST but my master's GPA was very good!) Sigh! fingers crossed and good luck!!! :)

Hi Everyone!!! Does anyone know when we will hear back? I know a lot of the other forums/previous cohorts heard end of March, and when I went to the information session in November, they had said end of March, but online now it says by end of April? Does anyone know anything different? :) (just a bit anxious lol)
