I am applying again for next year as well. I applied to Bing, Downstate and LIU. LIU is the only school I got into, but I cannot afford it.

What other programs have you applied and which ones you got into if you don't mind telling?

I believe I am still in the wait list, but somehow I could not log into my status checker. I haven't called the school to figure this out. They say they will notify us by 4/1.

I am still waiting. This is discouraging. I submitted my application in August and was forwarded in Nov. I was previously given false info regarding my prereqs several times over the email. I asked them several times about my decision, they just told me they are reviewing my application with no timetable whatsoever. The school just doesn't seem professional. I want to file a complaint.

I asked the admissions office and was told the total cost is around 70k, which is every expensive. I received a merit scholarship but it looks nothing compared to the cost.

No, they are humanity classes. It is disheartening to have waited for half a year now. I had a lot of "extras" because I majored in biology and chemistry. I also received 94% on TEAS V (99% national) and most As on the prereqs. I have strong rec letters and convincing essay. I don't think it is fair to delay an applicant's application just because of 2 missing prereqs.

Hi, I just want to seek some advice on how to finance my nursing education. I already have 50k loan from undergrad and now it seems I will have to take another 50k for an accelerated nursing program. Do you think it is worth it or I should wait another year to apply to a cheaper public school for nursing? Thanks!

I am still waiting for a decision. It is getting discouraging and nerve-racking because I submitted my application in mid August. It's been half a year. I hope my 2 missing prereqs have not caused too much harm...

Did anyone receive any notification letting know if you lack any prereqs? I did not, so I am not sure if it is safe to assume that I have met all. There's no way I can get a prereq in now. Thanks
