Molloy ABSN Fall 2023
Hi I'm also looking to apply for 2023. Their website doesn't give much info so it's annoying to have to always call! Do you know if there's a Summer session or just fall/Spring? Also anyone know how long it takes for them to get back once applied?

Felician University ABSN 2022 Spring
This thread is so helpful! I was moving forward with them until I saw this. My advisor was so annoying and would follow up weekly. They're so persistent in trying to get the money. Definitely too good to be true

Nursing Graduates from Widener University
Hey I'm looking to apply to Widener and have been looking for graduate's opinions as well. but I was wondering if you also saw the email sent months ago that they are in a provisional approval status because of low NCLEX pass rates? I can attach or forward that email. It kinda had me iffy about applying in general.... Do you know if they're making any improvements to the program?

Felician University Spring 2021 Nursing Applicants
@Rn0221 Thanks for sharing. this is making me consider my whole application with them. Honestly, it makes so much sense why their advisors are so persistent. It's annoying how much they'll call and follow up just to get you to send that application in. The one I was assigned to calls/emails all the time when I happen to be busy. I can't believe the professors won't even round up to let their students pass. Any other NJ/NY programs recommendations that are less scammy?

NYU Accelerated Nursing Fall 2020
I'm from nyc but I live in pennsylvania now and go to school here. About an hour and 15minutes away from ny and I'm used to it so nyu wouldn't be a big transition for me. I just really love their program and the campus. I've also heard that they look at applications hollistically. Apparently they take in like 200 students so that's good. That tuition tho! lol i feel like advisors are seriously pointless. I started with bio and recently switched to public health so i can get tf out of this school and move on to my absn!!

Non-degree at a CC?
Thanks alot, but the thing is since i am a transfer student i already have some of the freshman required liberal classes that PSU makes me take. I have psych, sociology, american studies, english and drama in media class for my art credit. So I am pretty much already good with some liberal courses. Also if I don't take a summer course then my nursing pre reqs (a & p 1 and 2, chem, micro, developmental, stats, etc) take up my whole year basically. So what do you advise based on that?

Non-degree at a CC?
hmm you're right. I'll just call both schools tomorrow about that cause I would rather pay more than waste time/money with extra liberal classes.

Non-degree at a CC?
I am currently at PSU harrisburg and trying to transfer over to a community college to finish my pre-reqs. I am hoping to go to either bmcc or bcc in nyc for fall 2017. I have a few classes that would apply for pre-nursing curriculum but next year I want to finish all before applying into bsn programs for fall 2018. My question is how do I go about as a non-degree student in bmcc or bcc without paying the non degree tuition? I was told that I should say I am liberal arts major then just finish my pre-reqs, but i wanna hear from others who experienced this. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

commutable nursing schools in ny?
My family currently lives in pa but they are planning to move back to the city/westchester area in the summer. I'm a freshman in college but I'm researching and looking at nursing schools with bsn programs in nyc now. My first question is (if you have experience of this) from the white plains/new rochelle area, how is the commute to Manhattan and/or Brooklyn? Like how far is the commute/if its stressful or not/etc. My dream nursing school is nyu cause i love the academics and the area, however since it's so expensive i would try to commute if i went to that school.(I'm also looking at liu brooklyn, city tech, lehman, cnr). Of course lehman and cnr would be much closer but i just wanna weigh options bc nyu/liu housing is very expensive. thanks
