Procrastinating in distance program

Hi, I need a swift kick in the bunz. I had to drop my traditional RN program because of child care. Now I'm doing excelsiors program and I am slacking on my studies. Meanwhile my original class graduates in 5 months😪 I'm hurt.

Well, a kick in the butt is what you will get then. Excelsior will gladly continue to take your money, year after year, as long as you want to put things off, but there will come a day when you can put it off no more. If you get to the CPNE before your drop dead date and do not pass the first time, what if you can't get a date for a retake in time? There is only so much that the school will do for you at the end of your eligibility for the program. And meanwhile, your former classmates have been working as RNs for all of those years. Hmm, trying to think of more butt kick. How about the state of your bank account from wasting all that money on EC?

My strategy was to divide how much I'd paid in tuition by the number of days in the term. For each day I didn't get school work done- I imagined my (very cheap) self flushing that amount of ca$h down the toilet. Highly effective!

Thanks guys! It's May and I studied a little but the thing is ....is.... I have no excuse. Im going to pay for the exam, this forces me to prepare for the text or be screwed out of a ton of money. Sucks that's the only way you can take the practice test too but hey!
