Private Duty

As an RN in Ohio, am I able to be hired as a private duty nurse to help a family who is requesting I come work for them in the home to help take care of their mother. It would be aide work. Mostly toileting and feeding. If so, am I allowed to be payed by them and what is a common hourly wage?

Why would you not be paid for your job ? Don't be surprise if you are offered prevailing local wage for aide job, 9- 11 bucks an hour . Aide work = aide pay
