PRIORITIES!!!

I am doing my final CPE for our current rotation and am having trouble with prioritizing my top three ND picks! Not sure why I am having so much trouble, I guess its because this one is being graded unlike the last FIVE! Ugh. Here are my three top ND's.

1. Ineffective breathing pattern.

2. Ineffective peripheral tissue perfusion.

3. Risk for falls.

That is the order I think they should go...any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :uhoh3:

Thank you Aliciasvn!! Appreciate your opinion. I am leaving it how it is... :)

Sounds good to me! If you think of it in terms of ABC's, you are right on the money there!

:hug:THANKS for your input! We shall see when it gets graded!! HaHa. This website is awesome. Nice to have some outside help...

I agree. That order is what I would do...but I won't lie...care plans aren't my best subject.

I was always told that risk for diagnoses came last on a priority list because they have not happened yet and we should focus on things that are already happening. Not that risk for is not important, just not the most important. Always remember ABCs =)

Oh, and that is the order i would have put them in! I just realized I didn't even answer the question haha

Thanks...I handed it in and got an EXCELLENT grade. I chose the "risk for" because the other 7 dx's weren't as important. But I totally understand what you mean. Makes sense. Thanks for the feedback! ;)
