Prescriptive authority question for Penn. NP's

I have a question regarding the prescriptive authority qualifications for Pennsylvania NP's.

In the NY practice act they state that 3 semester hours are required but in the PA practice act they are stating "at least 45 hours of course work specific to advanced pharmacology" is needed. Are they talking semester hours/credits or actual time spent in an advanced pharmacology course? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. TIA

    Coursework hours. It depends what your course outline says. For example, mine says "3 credits theory (45 hours)".
