I will be attending Truman college next semester for the nursing program. I still have to complete some of my prereq's( CHEM, BIO, MATH). The application deadline for the 2012 fall program is February but I'll still be taking my prereq's.
I talked to an adviser and she told me that I can still apply while still doing my prereq's but the application says that ALL PREREQUISITES MUST BE COMPLETED.
She also mentioned that I'd still have to complete all of my co-requisites(BIO,MICRO, ETC) before starting the Nursing program.
Could someone please tell me what I can/cannot do, and what steps to take. I feel like the advisers don't know what they are talking about.

If I were you, finish all your pre-req's first before entering the nursing program. Truman College nursing program is comprehensive and rigid. I think your adviser was saying is that you can take your pre-req's like A & P I and II together with your nursing courses but its all up to you. You will also be having clinicals once you enter the program. Good luck to you.

I've ran into the same problem with them. Some of them aren't sure what's going on. From what I understand, you have to have your pre-requisites completed BEFORE applying and the some of the other course you CAN take before applying, but you don't have to.
So you wouldn't be able to apply to Fall 2012.
