Preceptor

Hello all,

I am in the MSN-Nurse Educator program at Capella University and am in need of a preceptor. I currently live in Dallas, Texas. The preceptor must be and APN. If anyone is interested in being a preceptor or knows of any preceptors in the area, your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Moved to student NP forum.

Since you are in an educator program, can I ask why the preceptor must be an APN? They are different types of masters-prepared nurses.

The major assignment is to complete an advanced physical assessment and the requirement is to find an advanced practice health care professional, such as a NP, CNS, or a physician to precept.
