Precept

Hi all,

I have been looking everywhere for an NP to precept me with no luck, so I am trying here with the hope that an NP reading this will be kind to share his or her time to precept me. I don't have much hour requirement and I am willing to take any number of hours you can offer me. Would you be willing to precept me, please? I am in California but I am willing to travel anywhere. tellomere at yahoo Thank you so much!

You might want to say what kind of NP preceptor you want.

@zenman: thanks for your reply! I am in a family NP program. For the kind of NP preceptor, any NP field is fine, e.g. family NP, pediatric NP, women's health NP, adult NP, etc. in an out-patient/ambulatory setting such as clinics or EDs.

If you are serious about travelling, does that include out of state? I can hook you up easilly at a very reputable clinic in missouri

Hi Dixiecup,

I realize this is a while since the previous post, however, I'm currently enrolled in Maryville University's Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner program. I'm in need of a preceptor for next semester - it's my last semester. I need to complete my remaining hours in a primary care setting. I live in the St. Louis area. Where is this clinic that you mentioned?

Thanks,

Emily
