Pre-reqs

Published

Hi,

Im starting my pre-reqs this upcoming spring. Im taking - expository writing, general psychology and A&P this spring semester. I have been out of highschool since 04..I know it hasnt been that long but im kind of nervous. Im trying to get all my pre-reqs done in the next 3 semesters so I can apply for fall 09. That would mean I would have to either take A&P 2 during the summer session which is only 8 weeks long...or not have micro done before I apply...any advice??

Also, stupid question, I took the cna course last summer and passed but due to unseen circumstances I have yet to take the state board...should I re-do the class or just take the state board? Thanks!

many programs allow students to take microbiology concurrently (at the same time) with their first nursing classes. so, get the complete series of anatomy and physiology out of the way before applying to the nursing program.

i wouldn't take the cna course over. try taking the state certification test (it is not really a state board test). you usually get a chance to re-take it if you don't pass. but, by then, you'll know what's on the test! here is a site that has videos that review cna procedures:
