Hello everyone, I have been looking at comments on this site for a while now & finally decided to go back to college for my degree in nursing. Unfortunately, I now have to choose between my career in the military or my pursuit to becoming a nurse. (a childhood dream of mine) School & active duty do not balance out well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's unclear what sort of advice you're looking for since you start off by saying that you've already made a decision??

Perhaps you could do both in the future...
You could become an RN with a BSN degree, specialize in a specific area of nursing (e.g. critical care, emergency, oncology) for a few years, then apply to become a military nurse in the Army Nurse Corps, Air Force, or Navy Nurse Corps.
I'm sorry about not being clear. I am trying to figure out if I should stay in the military and try to pursue my degree that way, or if I should separate from the Navy & solely focus on my studies!
Yes, I have been recently looking at Officer Programs that will allow me to go to school full time while the Navy still pays me my active duty pay! Thank you so much for commenting!
