Hi, Allnurses,
I know this may be a person question but I am having to pay out of pocket for my classes at the time to pull my GPA back up. I am going to have to pay for at least 2 classes but hoping that just 1 class will get my GPA back up to 3.0 or better. What are some ways to pay for classes since my school doesn't have a payment plan for students?
Thank you for your help

Do you mean how to make some extra money?? Sell some clothes that you are no longer wearing. There are places like Plato's Closet that pay for gently used clothing items, shoes, accessories. Get a second job maybe? Strap down...no going out to eat, getting hair/nails done, buying brand name items, etc.

I am assuming from your post that you have already discussed your situation with the school's financial services office & they would have given you information on anything that they could provide - and your financial aid ineligibility is due to a low course load. If so, this does leave you in a pickle.
You're probably going to have to get creative to raise cash. Have you asked friends or other students for ideas? Although I certainly don't recommend it, I have even known some students to donate plasma for cash -YIKES
Since we're heading into the holidays, you may be able to market your services as a holiday lights/decoration installer, house- or pet-sitter. If you're in a city, you may be able to work for FedEx, UPS or another shipper that engages temporary holiday staff for warehouse jobs. They usually pay more than retail (who also hire for the holidays).
Thank you nlitened Iwish it would help. I already cut back on those things since 2012 and I wish I could get a second job. I hope that I can save at least $200 a month until summer.
thank you. I will just save some cash until the summer time. I was hoping that I could find and get a loan or something to help out but wanted that to the last thing to do. I think the class will be no more than $1000 or less for 1 class. I hope. Thank you
