PPD Tests

Just an FYI for people looking for low cost PPD testing- I needed a PPD test for a volunteer position I'm setting up at a local hospital. I haven't had one in more than a year and I currently only have catastrophic insurance. The local community health center did one for me on a walk in basis for free.

Great idea. My program needed 2 PPDs, appx a week apart. I was able to get one for free at my community college. I probably could have gotten the second one as well, except they went on break. I guess I shouldn't say I got it for free - all those years of paying into the health service fund. I was merely utilizing a service that I have paid for.

hiddencat: which health clinic did you go to? I need a PPD test quick, health insurance is not so great, and was scared that I would have to pay a fortune! I live in Delaware County, right outside Philly..

Thanks!
