Povidone solution

I am new to 'allnurses.com' and not sure where is the message/question that I posted earlier today! I'll try again. How long after a Povidone solution bottle has been opened is it safe to use it? The expiry date might be 2 years after the bottle has been opened. We did some lit searches, but could not find an answer untill now. Hope somebody can advice. Thanks

Is there no expiration date listed on the bottle? I have several bottles here at home and all have one on the bottom.

We have the small bottles, which are enough to use 1 on one pt., so we typically don't have leftovers.

Can you call the manufacturer to find out?
