So I'm trying to reply to a message only to find out that I don't have 15 posts to reply to a message. So I can't even thank the person for much needed advice.
Whoever thought of that... Brilliant!

Many people come to this site to spam the forums. In an attempt to protect our members from receiving endless spam via pm, we have the 15 post requirement before you can send pm's.

Just flip through and read a few threads. You'll find stuff to post on pretty quick. I just joined a few weeks ago and look at all my posts! It's hard not to sometimes! Welcome, btw!

You'll quickly get addicted in no time that 15 posts will seem laughable.

I just joined recently myself. I meant to only lurk (cause, well, that's how I am). But I've already posted several times here and there, because I had questions or wanted to chime in. I think the 15 post requirement will be met pretty quickly. :)
Here is the link to a post to see what you are in for.... on the road to becoming an official allnurses addict.

LOL That's awesome! And strangely true (except about the part with the beard). I found this site last week. I've been getting on to read it around 8pm (after my daughter goes to bed) and staying on until 3am or so every flippin' night. And during daughter's naptimes. I think I'm averaging around 3 hours sleep a night (it's like having a newborn again!), but I'm enjoying every minute of it. Fiance feels neglected, but I tell him I'm doing "research". He knows how excited I am to finally be going back to school after so many years and false starts that he just shakes his head, tells me goodnight and lets me continue to squint at the screen til the wee hours.
Let me just tell you. It only gets worse.....the addiction, that is. I've been a member for 5 years and the site has not lost its power over me. LOL
Seriously, it is a great site that meets the needs of many.
Oh good.....that gives me so much to look forward too. Should I schedule my eye exams now for the next several years in advance to just save time? Squinting at the screen at 3am is taking a toll!
There is no question that this site provides ample advice for those who seek it. Amazingly, this is a great place to come for comfort, career decisions and my gosh, literally anything one needs to know without having to leave home. I'm impressed!
It is a stressful time in my life now and I'm navigating both the nurses and engineering forums in hopes of finding answers.
Thx!

You have five posts to go. Replies or new threads, does not matter. Another option to contact the person is to use the email function. You can send an email through AN but the recipient's email address will not be visible to you.
